Lake Laberge Cabin Holidays
GENERAL INFORMATION

Rustic is the way we like to describe our camp. Each cabin is placed for maximum privacy. They are all equipped with a wood stove for heat and propane stove for cooking. We provide the firewood and propane. There is an ample supply of household paraphernalia supplied that includes bedding.

Drinking and cooking water is supplied. For anything else we use the lake water. Sanitation facilities include an outhouse and a grey water disposal pit for each cabin. There is a common sauna available on a first-come first-used basis. There is also a full facility men/women split, wash house that is equipped with toilet, sinks & showers. Winter use of this facility depends on the number of camp occupants at the time of your stay. Operating the facility requires the presence of a full time camp attendant.

ACCESS: The camp is located about 55km (35mi) north of Whitehorse. Getting there involves a little-traveled, privately maintained bush road. There is access via boat in summer and snow machine in winter. During spring break-up the camp is not accessible by road.

FISHING: Species in the lake include: lake trout, arctic grayling, northern pike, burbot and white fish. Fishing licenses and lots of advice is available from us but you should provide your own equipment. A canoe, kayak or 14ft/10hp boat is available for rental.

OTHER ITINERARIES: You can customize your own stay by combining it with a number of optional activities or rentals. See the summer and winter pages for additional information and the guided trips pages for more details. You can also charter a powerboat and guide for your trip in or out of camp.

How about a fully catered camp trip with all the bells and whistles including guide/cook, food, canoes, kayak or boat and a total immersion in the geography, natural and social history of the country around you. Contact us with your wants and we can custom cater a trip for you.
